SAWDUST BRIQUETTEE PRODUCTION IN NIGERIA FOR THE LOCAL AND EXPORT MARKET.
Much as been said about the need to encourage the optimal use of natural resources through recycling in order to reduce the ozone depletion and the effects of global warming.
One of the ways these can be achieved is through briquetting of sawdust. Sawdust is a bye- product gotten from the processing of woods.
Briquetting is a process of compressing sawdust to derive a fuel {sawdust briquette} that is smokeless and burns longer. The conversation is done through the briquetting machine. The season for securing of sawdust briquette contract starts from September to May for European countries while it is all year round for Middle East and Asian countries. In the Britain only, the demand for sawdust briquette is in excess of 70,000 MT annually.
Sizes could be in 1-2-5 mm and packaging in 5, 10, 25 KG depending on the demands of the buyer.
